MAYcation 2013, II

We were getting a little fidgetty sitting around all day, so we decided to take most of the month of May and travel the West. So, on May 6, off we went. Here is a pictoral history of our fine MAYcation.

I added a couple of stickers about the Little Big Horn Battlefield to the Windy Travel Wall.

Found this liddle lake at a rest stop.

The owners of this campground near Coeur D' Elene, Idaho let us stay here for a nite even tho' they weren't open yet. The area around Coeur D' Elene is beautymous. There's a nice lake there and everything.

We spent a couple nites along the Yakima River.

I gots my relax on.

A cuppa Joe and some readin' material.

Cottonwood trees were busy dropping cotton. We were the last folks to leave after a nice couple days.

Columbia River!

The Windy's decor fits right in.

Floating houses (not motorized, like housebotes) in Seattle.

It's pretty, but I'ma not sure why you'd want one.

We've planned for years to visit Ocean Shores, WA to look that the property SHE™'s owned forever, so we finally did. This is Grays Harbor on the side of the peninsula opposite the Pacific Ocean.

The lot, with lots of flowers and the smell o' the ocean. Kinda like Galveston, only cooler. And wetter. And earthquakier. And sunamier.

The nice rent car.

The Pacific Ocean. Looks chilly.
